Director, Business Manager

Sam is a dedicated business manager with over 25 years of experience in financial management, including 13 years within the education sector. As an AAT qualified accounting technician, she has honed a deep understanding of fiscal responsibility and strategic financial planning. Sam is passionate about providing excellent quality education and ensuring equal opportunities for all students, believing that every child deserves access to the resources and support they need to thrive. With a strong commitment to improving educational outcomes, she leverages her extensive experience to create a supportive learning environment where both students and staff can excel.

Marie

Teacher 

Marie is an experienced ICT and Computer Science teacher with a strong background in NHS informatics. Her transition into education was driven by a deep passion for sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of technology professionals. With extensive hands-on experience in computing and its real-world applications, Marie brings a practical, problem-solving approach to the classroom. Her focus is on equipping students with both the technical skills and critical thinking abilities needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech industry. Marie is committed to providing students with the tools to succeed, fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Barry

Teaching Assistant 

Barry has a rich and varied background in supporting young people across educational and care settings. His journey began with voluntary mentoring through the probation service, working with children at risk of offending—an experience that sparked a lasting commitment to youth development. This led to further involvement in community youth work and eventually into education, where he has built a strong foundation as a Teaching Assistant in both mainstream and specialist provisions.

Over the years, Barry has supported students with a wide range of learning needs, offering tailored one-to-one support in core subjects such as English and Maths. His calm, adaptable approach helps students stay focused, engaged, and on track to meet their learning goals. Barry is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every young person feels valued and empowered to succeed.

Nathan

Student Support Mentor

Nathan brings a wealth of experience to his role as Student Support Mentor, with a strong background in Physical Education, fitness, and youth mentoring. Formerly a dedicated personal trainer, he is passionate about supporting the holistic development of young people—combining physical well-being with emotional, social, and personal growth.

Nathan is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered. He works closely with learners to help them build resilience, confidence, and a strong sense of self, supporting them both in their education and wider life challenges. His approach is rooted in building positive relationships and promoting healthy, active lifestyles, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to thrive.
